Robyn Welk-Richards, PhD, MSW, LCSW, CEDS-S

Dr. Robyn Welk-Richards specializes in providing psychotherapy to adolescents and adults battling eating disorders, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and low self-worth for over a decade. Although her practice is extensive and her ability to counsel individuals battling a variety of personal and existential struggles is proficient, her area of expertise is in the treatment of eating disorders and self- and body-hatred. Dr. Robyn is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS-S) who has worked clinically and as a supervisor in managing some of the most well-recognized and elite eating disorder treatment organizations in the country as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Dr. Robyn’s philosophy on individual therapy is that the relationship with each and every client will be approached with compassion and creativity. Recovery is attainable for everyone and it is a clinician's responsibility to provide a safe space for clients to lean into the discomfort and find his or her freedom. The first step is the joining between a therapist and client.

Dr. Robyn practices as a psychotherapist, providing therapeutic services to individuals battling depression, self- and body-hatred, eating disorders, and disturbed body image. Her outpatient therapy practice is dedicated to a person's self-discovery through a long-term, client-centered investment between the therapist and the client.
